American Legion Department of Idaho Scholarship Program

Only applicants of current paid up American Legion members and/or American Legion Auxiliary members who have been active members in the Department of Idaho American Legion and/or Auxiliary for a period of two (2) years may apply for a scholarship. DUE: June 1, 2024

 
 

Idaho American Legion Greg & Beth Garatea Endowment Scholarship

All Scholarships will be awarded based on the applicant's desires and aspirations for becoming a more productive citizen. With preference given to in order of preference. DUE: June 1, 2024

  • Children of a Deceased Idaho Veteran
  • Children of a Disabled Idaho Veteran
  • Children of an Idaho Veteran
 

DEADLINE: April 5, 2024 
AMOUNT: $1,000
AWARDED: 10

  • Open to any Vocational Program or Academic Program
  • Examples of leadership at school, at work, at church, in the community, or within the home
  • Home address in Idaho's five northern counties

Idaho Governor's Cup - Academic Scholarship

To qualify for the scholarship, a student must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Be a resident of Idaho
  • Be a graduating senior of an Idaho high school or home school, or a first year student in a CTE program
  • Enroll as a full-time student in an academic or technical program at an Idaho college or university
  • Have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
  • Attend the first semester of college following graduation
  • Write a 500-word personal essay about your goals and interests
  • High consideration for selection will be based on a demonstrated commitment to public service. Documentation of volunteer work, leadership, and public service is required
 
 

Idaho Opportunity Scholarship

To qualify for the scholarship, a student must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Have an unweighted, cumulative GPA of 2.7 or above
  • Be an Idaho resident
  • Graduated or will graduate from an Idaho high school or its equivalent or Idaho home school (GED/HSE from Idaho)
  • Complete the State Board of Education scholarship application by March 1
  • FAFSA Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid by March 1
  • Maintain satisfactory academic progress for financial aid purposes. (See program rules for more details.)
  • Must attend one of these eligible Idaho colleges or universities
    • Boise State University
    • Brigham Young University Idaho
    • College of Idaho
    • College of Southern Idaho
    • College of Western Idaho
    • College of Eastern Idaho
    • Idaho State University
    • Lewis-Clark State College
    • North Idaho College

Idaho Real Estate Scholarship

Two $2,500 and five $1,500 - DUE: July 17, 2024
Academic Achievement, Extra-curricular and Civic Involvement

APPLICATIONS MUST BE TYPED. HANDWRITTEN OR INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.


Farm Bureau scholarships are limited to one per recipient. 

  • The scholarship is available to a member of an Idaho Farm Bureau family for one year of higher education at an
    institution of their choice.
  • An official High School or College transcript with a minimum 2.0 GPA.
  • Three current letters of recommendation must accompany all applications
 
 

P1FCU SCHOLARSHIP

March 31, 2024 - DEADLINE

2024 Scholarship Program Application P1FCU will award fifteen (15) $1,000 college scholarships for the 2024/2025 school year.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • 2024 high school graduate with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Acceptance as a full-time student at a college or university (must provide acceptance letter or other proof).
  • P1FCU primary member in good standing.
  • Provide a copy of your transcripts (please include all college credits as well).
  • Provide 2 letters of recommendation from teacher, counselor, or school officials.
  • Provide a copy of your resume.

Include a personal statement addressing your educational goals, future career plans, extra-curricular and/or community service involvement, how you have over come adversity, and why you would like to be considered for a scholarship. We will also accept videos in place of written personal statement. (Please submit video URL on the application.)

You may also include any additional information that you feel the committee might find valuable in evaluating your application.
